Found your dream wedding venue? Fantastic! Now comes the planning. The mood boards, the table plans, the wedding suppliers and the family ´discussions´. Before you get swept away in tablecloths and centerpieces, there are some key questions to ask your wedding venue and don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!
Here are 10 must-ask questions to ensure your big day runs smoothly:
- What’s included in the venue rental?
- Are there restrictions on decorations or suppliers?
- What are the catering options and associated fees?
- Do you offer any décor packages, or is it BYOD (Bring Your Own Decorations)?
- Is there a dedicated space for the ceremony and reception?
- What’s the policy on noise limitations and music curfew?
- Is there ample parking available for guests?
- Do you provide tables, chairs, and linens, or are these rentals?
- What’s the backup plan in case of inclement weather (especially if your ceremony is outdoors)?
- What are the policies on candles, open flames, and confetti?
